Age: 15 years
Height: 1.60m
Alignmnt: Neutral-Good
Eyes: Green
Hair: Sandy Blond
Skin: Goldish
Personality: Keiko is a very happy, curious cat-girl from the forest of Imladris. She loves learning new things about what she sees on Raze because her kind have always been confined to the deep forests, and her contact with the outer world was always very little. She is very naive, and doesn't hesitate to ask questions about things she does not understand, and quickly memorizes them, so she is a quick learner. Keiko is an animal lover, but is not vegetarian, she knows the difference between a good meal and a friend.
She is also a skilled (level 6) ranger of the forests, and is very capable in the use of both the long bow and the dagger for close protection. She is very agile thanks to her half-cat heritage, and can easily climb any wall, although she has some trouble convincing herself that the jumps down won't be so bad (she's afraid of heights.)
The beggining of her tale:
Keiko's nose sniffed the air softly, as she looked ahead through the trees towards a fine column of smoke. She frowned slightly. Her patrol had been till then quite uneventfull, but the smoke meant unwanted trespassers in her sector of the forest. None of her own people would make a fire that smoked so clearly.
She made her way silently and quickly through the threes, feet in padded leather boots, clothes hardly rustling as she crept closer, tail swishing behind her. Coming up close to a clearing, her sensitive ears picked up the conversation of three travelers.
"I told you that wasn't the way, you idiot!" Said a voice.
"How was I to know it had a dead end farther along, eh? Last time I came along this road, it went fairly straight through the forest towards Caradreas! Said a second voice. Keiko approached silently, muscles tensed, and ready to spring in case she was detected. In the clearing sat three travel worn men, cooking a few birds over a small camp fire.
"Well, I'll be damed, but I don't like thinking of passing the night here in these woods. They say they are haunted by evil spirits." Said the third, loking around at the trees suspiciously. Keiko grinned, knowing what the man meant.
Suddenly one stiffened slightly, looking up and towards Keiko, then shifting his vision to the right. "I think I hear something in the trees. Hush." The three remained silent, and Keiko turned to see what the noise had been.
She blinked. To her right stood a small fawn, one of her friends from the forest, curiously walking towards the men. She looked back at the men, and watched with mounting alarm as one of them, the most burly one, taking out a large sword. She frowned, and rusted the bush in front of her. The noise worked, as the man turned towards her hiding place.
Steeling up her nerve, she bounced out of hiding, looking directly at the man with the sword, and smiled.
"What the hell are you!" He said, not lowering the sword.
"A cat-girl." Said Keiko, tail swishing behind her, her ears forward. The man blinked in surprise. "A cat-girl?" Keiko nodded. "What are you doing in this forest." He demanded.
She sniffed slightly, "I should be the one asking you that, man, for I live here in the forest, and you are tresspassers."
The man grunted in response, and moved forward towards the other source of noise. Keiko quickly moved to stop him, "I can help you find your way to the town you wish to go, if you tell me why you wish to go there." She said quickly.
"My buisness is my own matter, and now i want to get that fawn for my dinner." Said the man, moving around Keiko. She moved again, intercepting him.
"That fawn is my friend, and you have enough food for tonight. Tomorrow in the morning I can direct you out of the forest. But don't kill that fawn." She said, arms going out to her sides, stopping the repeated intents of the man at getting at the fawn.
The man growled, "Get out of my way, or I'll kill you first! Keiko shook her head, defiant. The man lost his temper then, and directed a quick strong blow of his sword at Keiko.
Keiko moved to jump out of the way, but wasn't quick enough as she felt the bow connect, throwing her back, as a strong blue light blasted her, blinding out the forest, as she fell back, and back, and back...
